Pigg. is a Swedish word that means the feeling of being alert or lively.

Pigg. is a fully mobile wood fired Scandinavian sauna which will travel from site to site across Scotland along side three ice cold plunge pods.

Inspired by cold water swimming in the Hebrides on the Isle of Tiree, cold plunging is a wonderful practice. The feeling of alertness and endorphin release after a cold dip sealed the name Pigg. Add in the relaxing heat of the sauna and you get to the heat, dip, repeat routine that we love at Pigg. and want to share.

The health benefits of sauna and cold water immersion are extensive and well documented. Simply creating a space to allow others to enjoy this practice was our driver.  As a lifelong west end resident, adding and giving back to our local community is important as well as to the island community on Tiree where we have spent so many family summers. ,

Pigg. is currently based Traigh Bhagh/Crossapol Beach, South East of the Business Units, Crossapol on the Isle of Tiree.

Pigg. is a fully mobile wood fire sauna that seats 8 people. You’ll find us on one of the many glorious beaches there. If you are interested in private hires in other locations please message us as we’d love to help if access is possible.
